Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nova, a product operated by Oreca ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Nova, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Use Nova only for lawful business and marketing purposes.
- Do not upload content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the service.
- Comply with the terms of connected social platforms (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Credits and billing
Nova uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you generate content or use paid features. Subscription and top-up requests may require admin approval. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
Account deactivation
You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deactivation removes your access immediately. Your account record is retained so you can sign in again later; on return, your workspace is reset to a fresh onboarding state as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
Disclaimer
Nova is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, except where prohibited by law.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Oreca collects, uses, and shares information when you use Nova and related services (including social scheduling via NovaSocial).
Data controller
Oreca is the data controller for personal data processed through Nova. Contact: privacy@oreca.tech
Information we collect
- Account data: email, name, profile photo (via Google Sign-In or equivalent OAuth).
- Workspace data: brand profile (MCD), logos, business details you provide.
- Usage data: chat messages, generated posts, scheduling preferences, credit usage logs.
- Social connections: platform handles and OAuth tokens for channels you connect (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) via NovaSocial.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and service logs for security and reliability.
How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and improve Nova.
- Generate and schedule content on your behalf when you request it.
- Process billing, credits, and support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Third-party services
We share data with service providers only as needed to operate Nova:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — social page connection and publishing when you authorize it.
- NovaSocial — social media scheduling backend.
- AI and image providers — content generation (prompts and outputs you submit).
Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. When you deactivate your account, access ends immediately and associated workspace data is cleared on reactivation reset. We may retain minimal records required for legal, security, or billing compliance.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@oreca.tech or use the deactivation instructions below.
User Data Deletion Instructions
This section satisfies Meta/Facebook App requirements for user data deletion. It describes how to remove your data from Nova and connected Facebook/Instagram integrations.
Option 1 — Deactivate your Nova account (recommended)
- Sign in to Nova at your app URL.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click Deactivate account and confirm.
Deactivation immediately signs you out and revokes your sessions. Your connected social channels are disconnected. Your account identifier is retained so you can sign in again; if you return, your workspace is reset to a fresh onboarding state (profile, chat, posts, credits, and billing history are cleared).
Option 2 — Disconnect Facebook / Instagram only
- Sign in to Nova.
- Go to Workspace Profile → Social Accounts.
- Disconnect Facebook or Instagram for your workspace.
This removes Nova's access to those platforms and deletes the associated integration tokens from our systems. Your Nova account and other data remain until you deactivate.
Option 3 — Remove the app from Facebook
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Go to Apps and Websites.
- Select the Nova app and click Remove.
Facebook will notify Nova via our Data Deletion Callback. We will disconnect your Facebook integration and remove related tokens. For full account removal, also complete Option 1.
NovaSocial standalone accounts
If you have a separate NovaSocial login, open Settings → Account in NovaSocial and use Deactivate account, or email support@oreca.tech.
Processing time
Deactivation and disconnection take effect immediately. Backup purges from third-party providers may take up to 30 days. Email us at support@oreca.tech with subject "Data deletion request" if you need confirmation.
